$80 Later...

Poor Veronica was left at school instead of getting picked up by my friend.

I had an appointment at 2 yesterday afternoon and asked my friend to pick up Veronica from school at 2:30 with her boys.

I reminded her about picking up Veronica.

I left the dr's at 2:45 and was on my way to pick her up from my friend's. The school called our home (once), my friend's home and cell (four times), and finally called and got a hold of Aaron at 2:50.

My friend finally got the message on her cell and rushed back to the school and picked Veronica up. I went home and got the message and rushed to the school to pick her up. They told me she had just been picked up by my friend about five minutes ago. So I headed to my friend's house from the school.

Aaron was on his way to the school (after borrowing his boss' car) to pick Veronica up.

I get to my friend's house and she meets me at the end of her driveway apologizing profusely and calling herself a stupid idiot for forgeting Veronica at school when she was there picking up her boys. She said she was sorry and that she had WOW (World of Warcraft) on her brain and pretty much forgotten.

As she is explaining this to me, Aaron shows up to make sure Veronica was there with me.

My friend started to aplogize to him as well.

Then Aaron went back to work and I went to pick him up later. After I picked him up we decided to get some prepaid cell phones so the next time this happens the school can call us directly on our cells.
