Tropical Storm Fay

This video is from yesterday afternoon from our front porch. It was around 2:30pm.

Pretty much the whole county was in tornado watch until 1am this morning. In our county to the south there was one tornado that touched ground. It injured 3 people (minor injuries) and damaged 51 homes, 9 inhabitable.

Aaron and I were watching the news yesterday morning and saw video of a guy (in the Miami area) outside flying his kite and a gust of wind came by and picked him up. The guy ended up with a couple broken ribs and cuts.

This video is around 5:30pm yesterday from the back porch (of course safely inside but letting the dog out to his business). TS Fay is still south of us and the alarms finally stopped here on base. By 8:30pm we had 9 inches of rain from this tropical storm.

This video was shot this morning. Still a really wet day. Aaron had to go to work this morning. When he left the TS Fay was a little south of us moving slowly in our direction. We are getting gusts of wind that are about 65mph.
