Veronica's teacher Mrs. Dora past away from surgery complications late this morning. We took her to Denny's for dinner tonight (as well as Mira & Angelina) and told her about Mrs. Dora. Veronica cried for about five minutes and then was calm the rest of the time. Later she told Angelina in a "matter of fact" voice that her teacher died. Angelina gave her a hug. I think Veronica will be okay.
UPDATE: The news finally hit Veronica harder before going to bed. She cried for about 2 hours.
