My cousin Private First Class Nathan

Well today my cousin Nathan is heading to Fort Benning Georgia and then to Washington State. He enlisted in the Army to be a EMT.
He has wanted to join ever since he was in JROTC. He and I have been the only ones (in our family) to actually join that program in HS (and at the same HS). He actually joins and I'm married to a military man.
I really hope he does well. However our family thinks (for the most part) that it was and still is a stupid decision.
The only other two people that was in the military in our family was my Dad and Uncle Mike. Both served in the Army. I think they also thought it was a mistake to join the Army back then. Well at least my dad thought so when I was thinking of joining the military reserves.
